NEWS!

Makin’ Memories Walk/Run Fundraiser

An individual in our community, Kelly Warren (Bolton), has decided to organize a charity event in order to benefit the Alzheimer Society Guelph-Wellington! It will be held on Sunday, September 12th, 2010, and is called “Makin’ Memories”. This is the first annual 5km walk/run and 10km run that is being held in the Town of Erin on the trails of the Credit Valley Conservation Area. This is a very personal endeavour as her father has been diagnosed with this disease and she sees this as an opportunity for participants to get together with family and friends, raise awareness and funds and to start to fight back in the hope of finding a cure.

Information on how you can register for this event will be made available soon!

Organizations interested in sponsoring the event to help support costs and/or provide needed draw prizes can contact Kelly Warren at 519-855-6352 or makinmemories@hotmail.ca.

If you have any questions and/or concerns please feel free to contact Kelly at 519-855-6352 or via email at makinmemories@hotmail.ca.
